Sriracha Bottles: Short-cut to Repurposing Used Objects

Repurposing Sriracha Bottles

If you’re like me, you consume ungodly amount of hot sauce.  There’s at least 4-5 different types of hot sauce at our place at all times.  One of my favorite hot sauce is Sriracha.  It’s flavorful and garlicky, and I just can’t stop putting this on everything!

What I really love about Sriracha sauces is, however, the bottle it comes in.  The design it comes in is easy to use, easy to control and transparent.  This is important for purposes of repurposing them because you need to be able to see the inside of the bottle to know what’s in it, and how much of it is left.  It’s also good for keeping uniformity for the condiments you use the most!  As you can see on the picture above, we use these bottles for soy sauce, sesame oil and vinegar.  Projects like this will not only save money on bottles that you would otherwise purchase, but also help the environment by recycling.  It’s a win-win when you repurpose objects!

Any other repurposing ideas you’ve tried on your own?

  1. That’s awesome! I’m not a big fan of hot sauce soooo we don’t have sriracha bottles. bummer. I do save tons of plastic containers (big yogurts, takeout, salsa or jam jars, etc) to repurpose! I keep meaning to take a pic of all the weird containers I have laying around… hah
